Quite why they need to keep trotting nessie out to attract people always baffles me. It is a stunningly beautiful place anyway, and surely they could do without nessie nonsense to promote the place? It puts me off going again, in case one would have to encounter nessie nuts at the bar.

I've been to Fortean conventions, on ghost tours, on Kilroy and to Renne-le-Chateau (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rennes-le-Ch%C3%A2teau) so I'm not too bothered about mixing with the loonies.

I have spent around 5 months of the last ten years in Scotland having visited at least 20 times, but probably won't go back again because of the obnoxious stupidity of the anti-English independence campaign last year. There are other places to go. I'm off to Wales later this year.

Some kind of Nessie Hunt Holiday doesn't particularly appeal to me just because it would probably be fairly boring.
