Covid politics

Post by chaggle »

I've heard various people on GMB saying that the relaxation of the lockdown was too important a decision to be taken while the prime minister is out of action.

WHAAA?????

IMO if the government is unable to take such decisions it (and we) are in very deep shit.

Disclaimers - it may have just been the barely competent presenters and other commentators who said it rather than anyone important.

I don't think such a relaxation is seriously on the agenda anyway ATM.
Don't blame me - I voted remain :con

Well, the entire (rather mediocre) cabinet has been set up as a kind of cheerleader support for Johnson, with independently-minded people excluded, so it is hardly surprising that no-one else wants to be taking any of the PM's decisions for him.
