Although I have my own Twitter account, I rarely use it as I basically don't understand Twitter and what it can do. I do post links to this place every now and again, which boosts viewing figures for a few minutes, but that is all, as far as I am aware.

I was wondering if any members here have Twitter expertise and could advise me as to whether I should start a Skeps Forum Twitter account, and how I might be able to use it to create more traffic and even get new members.

I've got quite a busy website, but I still find twitter pales into insignificance compared to Facebook. I have just under 400 or so "followers" on twitter, but just under 4,000 or so on Facebook. Also, in terms of people clicking back to my own site, it's negligible compared to Facebook, and I personally wouldn't bother except for the fact that many of the authorities in Spain use twitter so it's useful for news gathering.

Thanks for the reply, DrS. I'll probably just stick with FB, most of the time, at least.
