For those who enjoyed this Welsh detective series, there are two more episodes on iPlayer, with two more to come.

The third series is now being repeated on BBC4. Atmospheric and gloomy in the fashionable Scandinavian style (Celtic noir?), it is quite addictive.

I watched the first hour of last night's episode, but had to give up on the last half hour. But I'm told the final result was fairly predictable, tragic and depressing.

Last in the series next Saturday though not sure I can face it atm.

The series ends on a relatively positive note, you may be relieved to hear!

However, I think you should be prescribed a boxed set of Murder in Paradise.

Quite so - you could spend an enjoyable period reflecting on which of the two scorching-hot detective-sergeants you prefer. :yea
