What Would It Take to Prove the Resurrection?

Post by bindeweede »

Here's a recent and short article from Michael Shermer. (ETA - well, from a year ago.)
According to philosopher Larry Shapiro of the University of Wisconsin–Madison in his 2016 book The Miracle Myth (Columbia University Press), “evidence for the resurrection is nowhere near as complete or convincing as the evidence on which historians rely to justify belief in other historical events such as the destruction of Pompeii.”

Well, yes.... not exactly a controversial claim, I mean you can go and see Pompeii for yourself, you don't have to take the word of witnesses.
