:?: By any chance, did your day also include a wander round:-
• Fabulous State Apartments and Royal Bedrooms
• The relaxing Sun Lounge
• Treat yourself in the stunning Royal Deck Tea Room
• Life below decks in the Sick Bay and the Laundry
• Sample home-made fudge in the NAAFI sweet shop
• Surprises in store, such as the onboard Rolls-Royce Phantom V, that used to travel on Britannia
Gleaming Engine Room
• Royal Racing Yacht Bloodhound (except July and August)*
• Finish your visit with a trip to our Gift Shop or shop online

I don't usually enjoy that sort of thing but it was brilliant, well worth a visit.

Ticked off various items on the bucket list last year. These are arguably the two most dramatic cityscapes in the world:

Hey, they've been cropped short - most of them is missing! - HELP!

First, the southern tip of Manhattan Island, taken from the Brooklyn Heights Promenade (a must-visit - get there by walking across the Brooklyn Bridge, which is just off the picture to the right).

Image

And then there is the Pudong zone of Shanghai (their version of Canary Wharf) taken from the Bund across the river.

Oh, I see - you just have to keeping extending the width of the browser screen until you get all of the pictures in - in my case, it has to be wider than the monitor screen, which is a bit of a nuisance.

I wonder why this happens? It doesn't when I open the images on my website. I have reduced the size of the images considerably, so it shouldn't happen...

Hi Tony. I'm not sure I understand the problem. Your last two photos were displayed perfectly well on my laptop. Great pics too.

In the Forum Admin Control Panel, there is a function to limit the size of images posted - depth, width and height - but these are set at "unlimited" at the moment.

The pictures as I see them are square in proportion, and consist of only the left hand part of the image.
