Defunding the WHO in the middle of a pandemic is reckless and dangerous. What we need to do is make the WHO better, not make it harder for it to do its job. If the pandemic teaches us one thing, disease is global. Our response to it must also be global, and that requires an organization like the WHO.

Apart from that, they are the ones with a somewhat dodgy list of 'carcinogenic substances'.
They spooked an already spooked woo-sphere by classifying Glyphosate as 'probably carinogenic'. That got it banned from many places including most of the rest of the EU depriving farmers and growers of a much used, and to all intents and purposes harmless, herbicide.
To put the risk into perspective, it sits alongside 'Hairdresser or barber (workplace exposure as)' in the list.
Don't see anyone getting spooked into avoiding those.
But agree that in site of its limitations it is important and needed.
